Russell Northrup, PT –

Russell grew up in San Antonio and has enjoyed a career in the health and fitness industry since 1999. He received a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. He has experience in wound care, sports medicine and orthopedics. He has competed in amateur Strongman competitions, plays guitar, and reads in his leisure time.

 

Christina Gutierrez, LOT – Christina has been providing occupational therapy services for 14 years, specializing in geriatric/cardiac rehabilitation. She received her Post Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women’s University. She has experience in wheelchair positioning, rehab dining, splinting and orthotics, fall prevention and restraint reduction. Christina has three beautiful daughters and a puppy who keep her life busy and entertaining.

 

Nancy Donbavand, COTA – Nancy practiced as a registered nurse for many years prior to becoming an occupational therapy assistant. She has been providing OT services for 12 years. She has worked in every rehab setting imaginable over the years. She recently moved from Waco to San Antonio to join our group. She has three sons, one daughter, and 5 grandchildren. Nancy founded Texas Teddies in Houston, a non-profit agency which provides teddy bears to children and adults with special circumstances.

 

CoriLynn Savage, MA, CCC-SLP

Director of Therapy Services – Cori received her Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders and Psychology at the University of Connecticut and her Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Central Michigan University. She has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence as an SLP for 8 years, and has specialized in communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in the geriatric population, primarily in the skilled nursing setting. She received VitalStim certification in 2007. Cori came to San Antonio via Arizona, Connecticut, and Michigan in 2005, and is very involved with her family, who all live nearby.
